Threads
words string warp
weft of memories packed tight
snugged against the beater bar inside my heart
mostly true stories twined
twisted threads interlock
painted rainbows woven
boundless palette unfurled
cascading colors bleed
emotion portraits fragile art
explored in quiet breath
meditation
infinity paused
Poetry Stutters
Poetry stutters stops
arguing for release
bubbling fermenting oozing out of pores
insistent, incessant
words pop up
circle brain before bed
incandescent wordings play whack a mole
surface, disappear, reappear
randomly repeat, gather, and disperse
lyrics mirror and reverse
in rhythms inferred
enigmatic observations
marking time in isolation
a swelling army united
marching columns split off
dazzling dance team choreography
as string pulls from inside my chest
rips away meaning, no way to digest
lingering lovely words
oscillate, jumble, pirouette
why do they hiccup inside my head?
tumbling acrobats unwilling participants
eluding attempts to record their patter
hiding, hidden hindering poetic perfection
suffocating
quarantined airtight
denied sunlight or completion
denied a sweet release
